First time doing speedpainting, I really would like to get good at these but it's just gonna take a lot of practice, any tips would be very helpful

not bad, not bad.. but start looking at things in terms of shapes and not lines... and you should build up your painting skills through traditional paintings first. All of those guys that do really kick ass speed paintings understand and know how to paint traditionally as well. Here is a good blog to look at http://underpaintings.blogspot.com/
and here is another blog that should help your understanding of painting
THIS ONE IS REALLY REALLY GOOD

keep up the great work.. you'll be a force to be reckoned with if you keep up this momentum and motivation

Good job!I think there is a way you can try. When you draw a picture, first draw it black and white or just use brown,it`s the basic skill on oil painting, but it will help you understand the light and the form.:)
